This Privacy Policy explains how Burniston Media ("we", "us", "our"), a trading name of Influencify Media Ltd, collects, uses and protects any personal information you provide when visiting burnistonmedia.com ("the Website"). The personal data we collect is the information you voluntarily provide through the sign-up form on the Website: your name, email address, business name, the service you are interested in, and any message you include. We also use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Analytics) that records aggregate page views and does not identify individual visitors, use tracking cookies, or build visitor profiles. We do not collect payment information through the Website and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
4. How we use your data
The information you submit via the sign-up form is used solely to respond to your enquiry, put together a proposal built around your goals, and follow up on any matters raised in your correspondence. We will not sell your details, share them with third parties for their marketing, or add you to a mailing list without your explicit consent.

Under UK GDPR we process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests (responding to enquiries you send us, which is a reasonable expectation when you reach out about our services) and legal obligation (where we are required to process data to comply with applicable law).
6. Data sharing

We share it only with the service providers that make the Website work: our hosting and storage provider (Vercel), and our workflow provider (Zapier), which routes your enquiry to us and sends you the confirmation or report you asked for. These providers are bound by their own data processing agreements. We may also disclose data if required to do so by law or a competent authority.
7. How long we keep your data
We retain form submissions only for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and for a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 12 months for enquiries that do not proceed). Once your data is no longer needed, we securely delete it. Separately, the Website keeps its own backup copy of what you submit, so that a failure in the systems above cannot cause your enquiry to be lost without our knowing. That copy is held in private, access controlled storage, is not published or reachable from the Website, excludes the rendered content of any report or confirmation sent to you, and is deleted automatically 90 days after it is created.
8. Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse, including serving the Website over HTTPS. However, no transmission of data over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted to or from the Website.
